2PCNE - Move & Merge-no blog.png

2 Pillars Church is currently in the midst of a season of transition. Our Near South and Northeast congregations are both moving and re-merging! 2 Pillars will once again be one church, one congregation.

In light of this transition, please note the time and location of our Sunday worship gatherings below:

JANUARY 07 - Spring 2018 (date TBD)
Location: Piedmont Park Seventh-day Adventist Church (4801 A St, Lincoln, NE 68510)

Piedmont Park Seventh-day Adventist Church will be our temporary home on Sunday mornings until we move into our new, permanent home at 40th and Sheridan (expected date: Easter 2018).

What to Expect

On Sunday mornings, 2 Pillars gathers together as a church family to worship Jesus, sing songs of praise, sit under the preaching of God's Word, and be transformed by the good news of the gospel. We invite you to join us, even if you wouldn't describe yourself as a Christian. We hope to be able to provide you with a welcoming and loving place to bring your questions, curiosities, and skepticism as you "kick the tires" on this thing called Christianity.

Our gatherings tend to be rather casual. Jeans, for example, are perfectly fine. Our services typically last approximately 90 minutes.

Bring a Bible, if you have one. If not, we'd love to send you home with one.

While kids of all ages are welcome to be a part of the regular worship service, age-specific programming is available on Sunday mornings for children 0-6 years old during the worship service.

Our children's ministry, called Little Pillars, is broken down into two classrooms:

  • Nursery (ages 0 - 1) / Wee Little Pillars (ages 1 - 3)
  • Little Pillars (ages 3 - 6)

Signs will direct you to the Little Pillars check-in and classrooms when you enter Piedmont Park Seventh-day Adventist church via the main entrance facing A Street.

Parking at Piedmont Park is available in three different lots. In addition to the main church parking lot (green), parking is available in the Bryan Hospital open parking lot to the Cotner side of the church (blue). Parking is also available in the lot by the Montessori School building across 48th Street to the west of the church building (orange).

If you are able, please consider parking across the street in the Montessori School or Bryan Hospital lots in order to reserve enough space in the main parking lot for guests, those with small children, latecomers, etc.

Finally, please keep the lanes to the north and south of the church clear except to unload.
