SUNDAY VOLUNTEERS | First Impressions Team

Sunday Opener

Summary: The Sunday Opener ensures that the lobby and auditorium are prepared for Sunday worship gatherings. This includes brewing coffee, setting up signage, and preparing the Communion Table among other tasks. Following the worship gathering, the Sunday Opener is responsible for doing a quick sweep of the auditorium and lobby and cleaning up the coffee station.

Needs: 1–2 Openers (8:45 – 9:45am), (11:30am ~ 11:45pm) every Sunday

Summary: Hospitality volunteers seek to connect each week with visitors and those who are relatively new to the 2 Pillars body. They do so before and after our worship gatherings. They are also concerned with traffic flow in the building, making efficient use of seating, and helping guests (especially visitors) to experience and take part in our worship gathering with as little friction as possible.

Needs: 2-3 every Sunday (9:30 – 10:00am, 11:30 – 11:45am)

Summary: Greeters' primary responsibility is to be present at the auditorium entrances, greeting people as they enter, and handing out worship guides.

Needs: 2 every Sunday (9:30 – 10:15am)

Summary: Little Pillars is our children's ministry and we have need for both leaders and helpers in Little Pillars (3-6 year olds), as well as helpers in Wee Little Pillars (1-3 year olds) and the nursery (babies). If you are currently serving in Little Pillars, you do not need to sign up again. We do ask all members to serve in this area in some form unless you are involved in the Musician's Community or the Safety and Security Team.
