Todd Bumgarner is the pastor and church planter of 2 Pillars Church. He grew up about an hour outside of Lincoln in a small town called Geneva. After graduating high school, he attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he graduated in 2002 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. This was followed by eight years in St. Louis where Todd worked as an Electronics Design Engineer at the Boeing Company while also earning a masters degree in Electrical Engineering (M.S.) from Washington University. It was during this time that Todd surrendered his life to Christ and slowly began to hear and heed God’s call to plant a church in Lincoln while serving in lay leadership roles at Mid Rivers Christian Church in St. Peters, Missouri. In the fall of 2008, Todd and his lovely wife Meghan submitted themselves to the assessment of the Acts 29 Church Planting Network, by which they received approval to proceed with launching an Acts 29 church in the heart of Lincoln.
Todd’s last year in St. Louis was busy working full time while also serving as a Church Planting Intern at Summit Community Church in O’Fallon, Missouri, and pursuing his M.A. in Theological Studies at Covenant Theological Seminary.
Todd, Meghan, and their two daughters (Iris and Lydia) moved back to Lincoln at the end of 2010 to plant 2 Pillars Church.

He is also the Visual Arts Director of The 815 - a community venue aimed at serving the local artists and musicians of Lincoln – where he is responsible for coordinating the First Friday Art Walk show and theatrical performances. He has lived in Arizona, Missouri, South Carolina, and Utah, but being raised in Lincoln, considers it home. In 2009, after earning a B.A. in Biblical Research in Missouri, Cheech, his wife Ruth, and their six children moved back to Nebraska to help with 2 Pillars Church.
Adam Stahr is on part time staff as well as being a Gospel Community leader at 2 Pillars Church. Adam earned a B.A. in Religious Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) and worked as an admissions professional at UNL for nearly six years following his graduation. Adam is a graduate of the Missional Leadership Program at the Resurgence Training Center (Re:Train) in Seattle, WA.

Matthew Grant is the Worship Leader at 2 Pillars Church. He was born in Nebraska, but has lived all across the upper midwest from Chicago to Rapid City, SD. After graduating high school, he spent his time involved in multiple bands and recording projects ranging from hardcore punk to southern gospel and bluegrass. Heading to Nebraska Christian College in 2002, he ultimately landed in Lincoln and was quickly brought in as a "hired gun" for multiple churches in Lincoln and Omaha as well as touring in bands throughout the country. In 2007 he accepted a worship position at St. Marks and has had the great honor to teach and lead students from 6th to 12th grade in the musical arts. After a gentle push from a church planting friend in West Omaha, he and his family came to be apart of the 2 Pillars community and quickly took on the worship leader role. Not one to sit by the accepted norms, he and his other 2PC musicians have set out to create an atmosphere of Gospel-centered music incorporating ancient hymns and newly written songs within the gatherings of 2 Pillars Church.
Matt and his wife Toni, have two daughters (Analiese and Ellanore). Matt is especially fond of his 3 year old Corgi named Tanner. When not writing or performing, he enjoys Johnny Cash, good brews, and tattoos.
